Last weekend I attended the Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Meeting with work. I was probably the poorest person there.
It was interesting with the news on David Sokol. I thought it would be all economic terms that I didn’t understand, but it was actually entertaining and educational.
Warren and Charlie are quite the comedy act. They finish each other sentences and then Charlie fell asleep after eating See’s Candies peanut brittle. He is 87. Can’t blame him.
Their salaries are only $100,000 each, but Charlie is worth $1.7 billion and Warren over $50 billion. They are the kings of investments.
For the second session, I was able to sit on the front row and see Bill Gates, who is on the Board of Directors. The picture is dark, but he’s the third one on the right.
