Le petit déjeuner

After two English breakfasts, this weekend’s edition of SMRIB (Saturday Morning Roommate International Breakfast) was a trip to France.  The figurative edible trip, that is.

I made crêpes using the recipe from America’s Test Kitchen cookbook.

All the ingredients go in a blender and sit overnight.
After four failed attempts at frying them in the pan, we figured it out.  While they are just a tiny pancake, don’t be fooled.  They are not easy to make.

Some filled their crêpes with goat cheese and tomatoes, but I prefer mine with strawberries and nutella.  I would eat nutella every meal if I could.
 Yummy.  We even stepped up our coffee/tea this weekend with mimosas.  Double yummy.
